• Can I sue you if I don't like reviews posted about me?

  Not every review is going to be a positive review and you may not want someone to say something bad about you. However, all public review websites and users comments are protected under First Amendment rights.

  Section 230 of the federal Communications Decency Act (47 USC § 230) provides that users and providers of interactive computer services, including the Internet, are immune from civil liability for publishing on the Internet material written by someone else. In Barrett v. Rosenthal (2006), the California Supreme Court ruled that this law protects Internet users.

• Why is my email address on this site?

  Your email address was added one of two ways.

  1. You posted on one of our connected websites. As soon as you post on one of our integrated websites, you are added so users can post reviews about you.

  2. You or someone else searched our database or posted a review about you.
